 Maria Elena Bello is an American actress. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998), with additional starring roles, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013, as Michelle McBride on the first season of the TV series Goliath in 2016, and from 2017 through 2021 as Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane in the NCIS series. NCIS. Bello was born on April 18, 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy, a school nurse and teacher, and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. She studied political sciences at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting by participating in various New York theater productions after she finished her studies. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son named Jackson. [18] She has written about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She released a book entitled Whatever...Love Is a Love: The Truth Behind the Labels We Place on Ourself. (Dey Street Books. April 28 in 2015).
