Kyra minturn

 Kyra Minturn Sedgwick (born on 19th August 1965) is an American producer, actress and director. Her leading role in TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. For her portrayal of Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. Following the conclusion of the seventh season, the show was canceled on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for a Golden Globe award in 1995 for her performance in Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born On the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). She was also in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald, an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was an Episcopalian and of English origin. Sedgwick has stated that she is Jewish and is a part of Passover meals.
